Biography

Kayenat Sheikh is a researcher specializing in bioinformatics and computational structural biology. Her work sits at the intersection of computational methods and biological inquiry. Her research focuses on leveraging computational tools to investigate macromolecular structures, with contributions to areas including computer-aided drug discovery and structure-based biological analysis. She has collaborated with researchers across leading institutions, including AIIMS Delhi, reflecting a broad and interdisciplinary network. Her published work includes contributions to computational drug discovery frameworks, underscoring a commitment to translating structural biology insights into applicable biomedical outcomes. Based at one of the world's foremost research universities, Kayenat continues to advance computational approaches to understanding biological systems at metatranscriptomics and metagenomics level.
