Biography

Kevin earned his Bachelor’s degree in Zoology from CMS College Kottayam and his Master’s in Zoology (Life Sciences) from the University of Madras, graduating as a Gold Medalist from both institutions.

Before joining KAUST, Kevin immersed himself in research across India and abroad. Kevin participated in the Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Fellowship at JNCASR and IISER Kolkata, received a Vritika Fellowship at IIT Guwahati, and served as a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem. At the Hebrew University, Kevin was studying the putative effect of P53 mutations in gastrointestinal malignancies.

In August 2025, Kevin joined the Pathogen Genomics Lab at KAUST as a PhD student. He will mostly be working on studying the molecular mechanisms and fundamentals of disease, utilizing bioinformatics to analyse genomic datasets as well.
