I am currently working on understanding the host-pathogen relationship and the genomics behind the response in Brassicaceae against necrotrophic pathogen Alternaria brassicae causing grey leaf spot of mustard.  In particular, identification of the gene(s) conferring resistance as well as unveiling the molecular network in host through comparative study of transcriptome in A. brassicae resistant and susceptible lines are the primary focus of my study.
